The High Commission of Maldives organized an event for Maldivian students in Malaysia to celebrate the 59th Independence Day of Maldives.
The High Commissioner, emphasized safeguarding the country's independence for future generations.
High Commissioner further highlighted the crucial role of education in helping young people reinvigorate with national identity and Islamic values.

The High Commission had a productive discussion with Management Science University (MSU).
MSU and the High Commission discussed on student related issues and areas of collaboration specially on Scholarship opportunities for Maldivian Students at MSU.
The High Commission also met with the President of MSU Prof.Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri AB Yajid and some of the Maldivian students studying at MSU.
